Why it matters here.
Foothill streets and canyon roads mean loose gravel, sand and overhanging trees. Sap and bird droppings are hard on clear coat, and film takes the hit instead. A coating won't stop rock chips (that's what PPF does), but it makes dirt, bugs and water slide off so the car stays cleaner between washes.
The most popular setup for Sierra Madre drivers is PPF on the front and a coating over the whole car.
Sierra Madre's narrow foothill streets and tree-lined blocks mean branches, sap, acorns and bird droppings. Cars parked outside overnight see the most of it. Loose gravel on steep streets and trailhead parking adds chips low on the bumper and rockers.
For cars parked under trees, a ceramic coating makes sap and droppings much easier to wash off before they etch.

I'm really detail-oriented with these type of projects and they definitely exceeded my expectations! The PPF job was as perfectly installed as it can be done. If you guys are familiar with how complicated these new 4Runners are, you'd understand that it's not an easy job.

I highly recommend this business. Special shout-out to David who made the entire process smooth from start to finish. The wrap came out phenomenal. The attention to detail and turnaround time were both impressive. What impressed me most though, was their commitment to quality. During their final inspection they noticed a panel that didn't meet their own standards. Instead of letting it slide, they took the extra time to perfect it. This did add a few hours to the pickup, but they went above and beyond by personally delivering the car to me afterward, which I genuinely appreciated. It is rare to find a shop that emphasizes customer service in this way which is what makes motorsport wraps stand out. Recommend 100%
